I first met Mayor Tony Keats several years ago when he was president of Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador. He did an excellent job in his role. Tony has been the Mayor of the community of Drover, NL for many years with very limited staff, working full time as well as part time in other occupations.

I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Municipal Assessment Agency with Mayor Keits, who is always offers his opinion and influences many decisions.

Tony is a very knowledgeable, hardworking and professional individual who has earned the respect of hundreds of municipal leaders throughout the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It has been an honour and a privilege to work with Mayor Keats and I highly recommend him for the 2023 World Mayor.
